P3 visit the Sacred Heart Grammar School 3/3/10

Our day at the Sacred Heart.

The Sacred Heart Grammar School kindly asked our Primary 3 girls to visit their school to showcase their Year 10 Technology and Design work.  The St. Clare’s girls got a lovely opportunity to see technology in their works of art!  The pieces were very imaginative and artistic and the Sacred Heart girls described how they were made and what they represented. Our girls had a great time, pushing buttons and pressing switches to see what may happen!  There were lights and music to accompany the lovely models and art work.  The Primary 3 girls thoroughly enjoyed it!

Katie McCormick, Aisling, Sinead, Aimee Murray, Rhiannon, Chloe, Amy, Hannah, Eimear, Aveen, Sylvia, Margaret, Carla, Mary and Morgan loved the Willy Wonka design because there were sweets all over it!

Rebecca Moan and Ella loved the Alice in Wonderland display because you could move the rabbit and the music was great.

Leah, Wiktoria, Rebecca Hazzard, Shannagh, Julia and Szimonetta loved the Twilight design because Edward was in it and he was a big favourite with the girls when they watched the film.

Katie Grant McMahon and Aimee Hadden loved the Michael Jackson design because they loved his music.

Sophia and Sonia loved the Titanic display because it showed the people and the ship sinking and had lovely music.

Terri loved the Little Mermaid and Peter Pan displays because the songs on the displays were her favourite from the movies.

Beth liked the Star Wars display because the music was nice and she has seen the film.

Shannon loved the French display because it showed the Eiffel Tower with lights.

There were so many favourites for each girl.  Thank you so much to the Sacred Heart and their Year 10 students for a lovely morning!
